Scotland's National Recovery Walk (17 September 2016)

On Saturday 17 September Hepatitis Scotland, along with the Hepatitis C Trust, attended Scotland’s National Recovery Walk at Callendar Park in Falkirk.

An estimated 2000 people celebrating recovery from alcohol and other drugs took part in this event.

A questionnaire sought opinion from those attending regarding the WHO goal to eliminate hepatitis C by 2030, as supported by leaders of all Scottish political parties on World Hepatitis Day. Although this was just a snapshot of opinion, it gave overwhelming support to meeting the target, along with suggestions as to how to do this.
