Hepatitis C: Treatments have changed!

HepC-700px.png

New treatments have transformed the hepatitis C landscape, with treatments now:

  • offering over 90% success
  • in all tablet form with interferon no longer part of treatment
  • lasting 8-12 weeks
  • with minimal side effects
  • no longer routinely carrying out liver biopsies as part of liver checks
  • accessible for everyone.

As part of a campaign to highlight these rapid advances in treatments, Hepatitis Scotland has, in partnership with NHS Lanarkshire and Lanarkshire Blood-Borne Viruses Network, developed materials, including posters, a leaflet, and a short video.

National versions of the materials can be found below, and local versions are available on request.
