Living with hepatitis C: patient booklet

Hepatitis Scotland, in cooperation with NHS Health Scotland and NHS Scotland, has published a patient booklet for people newly diagnosed with hepatitis C.

This booklet seeks to answer any questions you may have about the hepatitis C virus, treatment and any lifestyle changes you may need to make while on treatment.

*UPDATED NOVEMBER 2017* The patient booklet has been updated to take into account the changes to the National Clinical Guidelines for treatment of hepatitis C in adults, with treatment regimens involving interferon no longer recommended.

To download the booklet, click here.

Local versions of the booklet are also available for Ayrshire and Arran, Fife, Forth Valley, Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Lothian and Tayside.
